Eine fundierte osteologische Erfahrung in der klinischen Forschung und Patientenbetreuung in 25 Jahren ärztlicher Tätigkeit an führenden universitären Einrichtungen in Deutschland, Kanada und der Schweiz sind ein Schatz, den ich gerne an meine Kolleginnen und Kollegen am Zentrum für Proaktive Medizin und damit an die Patientinnen und Patienten weitergeben möchte.

„Best Research – Best Medicine – Best Patient Care“ war das Motto des Mt. Sinai Hospitals in Toronto, das gross über dem Eingangsportal zu lesen war. Für mich war es immer auch ein eigener Anspruch.

In den letzten 10 Jahren habe ich – auch ausserhalb der Universitätsmedizin – bereits an anderen Standorten in Deutschland und in der Schweiz meine Erfahrungen, aber auch Ideen für eine bessere Patientenversorgung erfolgreich in die Tat umsetzen können.

Es war mir zudem eine Ehre als Senior Medical Advisor für die International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) mit Sitz in Nyon (CH/VD) zu arbeiten.

In diesem Sinne freue ich mich, diese Werte nun im Zentrum für Proaktive Medizin im Rennweg im Herzen von Zürich weiter leben zu können – als Berater für ein engagiertes interdisziplinäres Team, das sich nicht nur der Therapie, sondern auch der Früherkennung und Prävention der Osteoporose verschrieben hat.“
